Louie Culture Canceled, Romain Virgo will perform

Louie Culture’s show tonight at the Belly Up Tavern canceled, but Romain Virgo will still perform.

According to the Jamaica Star Online, Louie Culture was shot once in the arm while visiting a tire shop in Priestman’s River, Portland parish. Anthony Taylor, the tire shop owner, was also injured in the thigh by a bullet.

Louie Culture was jailed March 21 and released on March 28, after police interrogated him about a his car being used in a shooting in Hartford.

According to the report, the police stated that the Port Antonio incident is a retaliation from the Priestman’s River bridge incident.

Romain Virgo will headline the show in Louie Culture’s absence and DJ Megga (Culture Blend Sound) and DJ Carlos Culture will spin the early tunes.

Virgo is VP Records’ chart-climbing artist and will perform his smash hit, “Mi Caan Sleep,” on the “Feel Good” riddim.

Louie Culture’s show will be rescheduled for the end of April.

Admission has been reduced to $10.

Check back tomorrow for the full review.
